It's time to tell your story!

My name is Amanda Blaylock. Like most humans, I love to hear and tell stories!

I do this professionally as a video editor as well as in my spare time where I try to grow my skills as a writer and illustrator. But it can be tough out there for the little guys like us! This is a place where we can share our trials and tribulations, our stories! Connect through writing and illustrating competitions, learn from each other, and fearlessly grow ourselves and our skills.

Contests and competitions

Look in the contests category where I will try to post current and upcoming competition links. These are fun to participate in and the stakes are low. You just need to be brave enough to put your work out there and let it stand on its own with the other great stories. I will try to post updates when the winners are announced so that you can see what kind of writing is gaining traction.

Share and get out there!

In the end, writing and illustration are a beautiful form of self expression. But if you keep your stories to yourself, you may never learn their full potential. I will do my best to share my own work and journey, and you can share here too!
